After enduring a turbulent childhood and dropping out of high school in his junior year, Sammy Lee Gott enlisted in the military.

He gave his country eight years of service during the Vietnam War.   While in the military, he went to night school at Mountain View High School in California to get his high school diploma.  Upon his discharge, he went to college on the GI Bill.  Sam completed his formal education with a Master of Science in Financial Services.

300dpi-Picture-Sammy-recentSam retired after working forty-two years helping clients reach their financial goals.  During these years, Sam taught many financial classes at colleges and universities.  He also conducted hundreds of seminars all over the United States on risk management, financial planning and investment strategies.

Sam has been married to his wife, Janet Kay, for forty years and has four children and six grandchildren.   Being a big believer in education, Sam and his wife, Jan, have provided a debt free college education for all four of their children – their legacy to their kids.   He is very proud of this fact, because before he went to college, no one in the many generations of his family ever had a college education.

After retirement, Sam felt that he had a lot to say, so he starting writing books, a cathartic endeavor, to say the least.

WLDSAT_3DHis first, “When Love Doesn’t Start at Home,” is his story of surviving a dysfunctional family.  This book will give you a better understanding of Sam and his experiences that he feels are important, particularly for individuals that grew up in similar circumstances.

LIASOJ-3D-LeftFacing copy.pngHis second book, “Life is a Series of Jokes,” is a compilation of jokes intermixed with Sammy’s own life story.

NMNWISS-3D-RightFacingHis third book, “Neither Man Nor Woman Is Spelled S.A.I.N.T., discusses why we are at the crossroads of hate and love between men and women.

NMNWISS-3D-RightFacingHis fourth book highlights the exciting profession of being a professional driver and it’s sad demise.
